Custom Paint by Number Photos

Need a hand, found a bug, or have a question? We're a small studio and we read every message.

How the app works

Pick a photo of your pet, your garden, a sunset, anything you like, and the app turns it into a paint by number you fill in piece by piece. Tap a region to fill it, or hold and drag to paint a whole area at once. Turning a photo into a painting happens entirely on your device, so your photos never leave unless you choose to race a friend or share to the community.

Premium and subscriptions

• What Premium unlocks: unlimited paintings, a larger daily community set, daily hints, and Advanced mode. You start with two free paintings.
• Plans: a weekly or yearly subscription, or a one time Lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel: open the Settings app on your device, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, then choose Custom Paint by Number Photos. You can switch plans or cancel there at any time.
• Restore a purchase: on the Go Premium screen, tap Restore. This re-grants Premium on a new device or after reinstalling, as long as you use the same Apple ID.
• Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Race a friend

Open a painting's menu in the gallery and choose Race a Friend to create a race, then share the code or link. Your friend enters the code to build the exact same puzzle on their device, and you both see live progress as you go. First to finish wins. Races are private and expire automatically.

The community gallery

• Browse: a fresh set of paintings appears every day. Play any one you like.
• Share your own: from the finished screen, share a painting to the gallery. The community is for art, so we allow animals, landscapes, flowers, and food, and no people.
• Report a painting: use the menu on any painting to report it. Pictures are also scanned on your device before they are ever sent, and again before they are shown.
• Remove something you shared: find it under Shared by you and delete it, or email us and we'll remove it.

Your photos and privacy

The photo to painting experience runs entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you start a race or share to the community. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

• A photo did not convert well? Try Easy, Medium, or Hard for a different level of detail, or use Advanced mode to fine tune colors, piece sizes, and cropping.
• Race or community not loading? These features need an internet connection. The rest of the app works fully offline.
